Terms of Service

Effective date: 23 July 2026

These terms apply when you use Tralendr, including our website at tralendr.com, our iPhone and Android apps, and our connectors for AI assistants (together, the "Service"). Tralendr is operated by The Walking Universe ("Tralendr", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Tralendr does

Tralendr helps you turn travel plans into a visual, day-by-day itinerary: you can create trips, add places, organise them by day, view them on a map, share them with a link, and use them while you travel. You can create trips yourself, or save them from an AI assistant you have connected.

2. Your account

You need an account to store trips. Please give us an email address you control and keep access to it secure, since we use it to sign you in. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Accounts are for people aged 13 or over. Creating, storing, and sharing trips is currently free, and we will give you reasonable notice before changing that.

3. Your content

Your trips, notes, and the places you add are yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service for you, including generating a shareable page if you choose to share a trip. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not sell it.

If you share a trip, the link makes that trip viewable by anyone who has it. Please only share trips you are comfortable being seen, and do not put sensitive personal information into a trip you intend to share.

4. Connecting AI assistants

You may connect Tralendr to a third-party AI assistant, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Mistral, so it can create and update trips on your behalf. Connecting is optional. When you connect, you approve exactly what the assistant is allowed to do, and you can revoke that access at any time from the Connected apps section of your profile.

Those assistants are run by other companies, not by us. Your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their behaviour, availability, or the accuracy of what they generate. An AI assistant can make mistakes, including about opening hours, prices, travel times, and whether a place exists as described.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • break the law, or use the Service to harm, harass, or deceive anyone;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to access other people's accounts or data;
  • disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse engineer the Service or its API;
  • scrape or bulk-extract content from the Service without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things, or that put the Service or other users at risk.

6. Third-party information

Tralendr shows information from third-party sources, including place details, maps, and images. That information belongs to its providers and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always check anything that matters, especially opening hours, tickets, visas, health requirements, and travel conditions, with the official source before you rely on it.

7. Availability and changes

We are actively building Tralendr, so features may change, and parts of the Service may be unavailable at times, including for maintenance. We may add, change, or remove features. We will try to avoid changes that lose your data, and you can export or delete your trips at any time.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information in it is accurate or suitable for your trip. Tralendr is a planning tool, not travel, safety, legal, medical, or financial advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tralendr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, missed bookings, or missed travel, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Tralendr at any time and delete your account from the delete account page, which removes your trips. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the Service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service develops. If a change is significant we will take reasonable steps to tell you, for example by email or a notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country you live in requires otherwise.
